INTEGRATION OF TALLY WITH CENTRAHUB HCM


Integration with Tally is similar to that of QuickBooks, please follow the below steps to integrate the HCM application with Tally.

Step 1: Navigate to Global preferences and look for ERP integration fields and define the configuration as shown below.

  • Email Employee: Please select the employee to whose email id notification to be triggered.
  • Email Template: Select the desired template which holds information regarding Tally integration.

Note: Host Name and company name would be based on the tally application you have installed.

Step 2: Create accounts for company and employee and map the accounts in employee details

Note*: - Code should be either number or Alphanumeric only.

Step 3: Create workflow

·         Source and destination fields should be mapped in such a way that Code field should be mapped to name & name field to be mapped with code as shown below.



Step 4:

·         Navigate to Payroll>>Single/Multiple employees and run the payroll for the month.

·         Navigate to post payroll entries and select the required Pay batch, pay frequency & type, and save. 

Note*: Tally application should always be up and running while performing the above steps

Step 5: After posting the entries an email would be triggered to the employee email id which is mapped in global preferences master definition.

·         We can look into the attachment status


Step 6:

Navigate to Tally and check for Account details under

Dashboard >>Account info>>Ledgers>Display:


·         We can also look into ledger details by navigating to the below location.

Dashboard >>Display>>Account books>>Journal register

·         Select the desired month and DoubleClick on the month to view the entries.

Advance Leave Encashment

This option is for leave encashment for advance leaves. There are two scenarios here: 1. If payment type is selected as continuous in leave encashment screen, then the leave encashment salary will be credited through the payroll. 2. If payment type is selected as advance in leave encashment screen, then the leave encashment salary will not be credited through payroll but in the print layout, encash amount can be viewed. Settings>>Customization>>Leaves>>Leave Encashment>>Print layout Note: Employee Account and Salary Account should be mapped in the Employee master Follow the below steps for FA posting: 1.
