Goal Sheet flows at various levels of application.


Goal sheet flow is required to set forward the Goals and Track timings. You will be defining the time period for
a goal to be achieved and also to track the goal in a specified time period.
Goal sheet flows in the application are categorized into different levels they are as follows
  1. Goal sheet flow at an organization level 
  2. Goal sheet flow at Designation level 
  3. Goal sheet flow Tasks based.
Prerequisites to define these flows:
To define Goal sheets in the application we need to define the below-listed parameters first. 
  • Key performance indicators have to be defined, based on these the performance of an employee is to be evaluated are defined in the below screen. The weightage and the scales for each indicator can be defined.
Navigation:
On the Setup menu, Click Masters then Click Appraisal then Select Key Performance Indicators.

  • Key Performance Area should be defined it’s a questionnaire of selected indicators to evaluate the performance of an employee for which the weightage is also defined.
Navigation:
  On the Setup menu, Click Masters then Click Appraisal then Select Key Performance Area.
  • Based on the requirement of the organization we can select the question level like organizational level, Designation level OR Task-based. 


1.Goal sheet flow at an organization level 

This Flow is required to set forward the Goals and Track timings. You will be defining the time period for a goal to be achieved and also to track the goal in a specified time period. We can create goal sheet flows at different levels of an organization, Assume that we need to define goal sheet at an organizational level irrespective of Position or tasks of employee’s then we need to follow the below stated steps.
Step 1: 
  • Navigate to the menu, Click Masters then Click Appraisal then Select Key Performance Area and click on New.
  • Select an organizational level in Questionnaire level dropdown  and Add Questions 
Step 2 :

  • Navigate to Settings>> Preferences >>Global preferences and look for organizational checkbox and select the desired organizational level 

Step 3:
  • Navigate to the Setup menu, Click Approval Then Select Goal Sheet Flow
  • Click this button to design a New Goal Sheet Flow.
  • The below screen appears.
Step 4: 

  • Click on the ADD level and navigate to the Questionnaire and select the organizational level.
Step 5: 


  • Initiate goal sheet On the Organization menu, then Select Appraisal then Click on Initiate Goal Sheet.

Step 7: 

  • The User will log in with the Credentials.ESS Home Page will open.

Step 8:

  • Click on the notification icon to view the Pending Notifications.
  • Click on the Goal Sheet Target to view the pending goals waiting for approval.

  • Here you can view the Key Performance Questions. Click on the Set Target.
  • Select the Rating and Enter Comments and Click Ok. Repeat this for each question
  • Click Save. The Initiate Goal Sheet Status will change from Pending to Approved or Rejected depending upon the Ratings.
2.Goal sheet flow at Designation level 
This Flow is required to set forward the Goals and Track timings. You will be defining the time period for a goal to be achieved and also to track the goal in a specified time period. We can create goal sheet flows at different levels of an organization, Assume that we need to define goal sheet at a specific Position level of employee’s then we need to follow the below stated steps.
Step 1: 

  • Navigate to setup >> Organization masters and select >> Position master.
  • Define Designation and select the required designation for which the user needs to initiate the goal sheet flow.

Step 2:

  • Navigate to the menu, Click Masters then Click Appraisal then Select Key Performance Area and click on New.
  • Select Designation level in Questionnaire level dropdown  and Add Questions 
Step 3:
  • Navigate to the Setup menu, Click Approval Then Select Goal Sheet Flow
  • Click this button to design a New Goal Sheet Flow.
  • Click on the ADD level and navigate to the Questionnaire and select the Designation level.
Step 4: 


  • Initiate goal sheet On the Organization menu, then Select Appraisal then Click on Initiate Goal Sheet.

Goal sheet flow Task-Based. 

This Flow is required to set forward the Goals and Track timings. You will be defining the time period for a goal to be achieved and also to track the goal in a specified time period. We can create goal sheet flows at different levels of an organization, Assume that we need to define goal sheet flow task-based for all or Specific levels of employee’s then we need to follow the below stated steps.
Step 1: 
  • Navigate to the menu, Click Masters then Click Appraisal then Select Key Performance Area and click on New.
  • Select Task-Based in Questionnaire level dropdown and Add Questions if required or can leave these empty as questions can be defined during approval.
Step 2:

  • Navigate to the Setup menu, Click Approval Then Select Goal Sheet Flow
  • Click this button to design a New Goal Sheet Flow.
  • Click on the ADD level and navigate to the Questionnaire and select the Designation level.


Step 3: 

  • Initiate goal sheet On the Organization menu, then Select Appraisal then Click on Initiate Goal Sheet.

  • When a user clicks on add questions application would display below the window where User can enter his desired parameters as per the requirement and click on Ok.

  • Questions entered by the user shall be displayed below in level 1 

  •  Click Save. The Initiate Goal Sheet Status will change from Pending to Approved or Rejected depending upon the Ratings.

Advance Leave Encashment

This option is for leave encashment for advance leaves. There are two scenarios here: 1. If payment type is selected as continuous in leave encashment screen, then the leave encashment salary will be credited through the payroll. 2. If payment type is selected as advance in leave encashment screen, then the leave encashment salary will not be credited through payroll but in the print layout, encash amount can be viewed.
